As a team the women finished in 3rd place with 91 points behind winners Dalhousie and second place StFX. The REDS have now finished 3rd in all three of their competitions and will next be headed to Montreal for an interlock competition (Quebec and Atlantic conferences) held at Maisonneuve Park on Saturday October 12th.
"This squad continues to show that they are not a team to be taken likely. As a team we took more than 30 seconds off of our average time and are nowhere near our top form. As a coaching staff we are very excited to see what these women can do at the end of the month at the AUS championships," stated head coach Jason Reindl.
With only three weeks to go before the AUS Championships the team will be heading to Montreal this weekend, followed by an off week before the AUS championships in Moncton on the 26th of October.
