Sarah Myatt top runner in first AUS Invitational

In the first official cross country meet of the season the men's and women's teams took to a muddy, wet course at Odell Park in Fredericton hosted jointly by UNB and STU.

The women's race individual 6,000m race winner was Melissa Hardy of St. FX who led the field with a time of 19.05.

UNB's top finisher, Sarah Myatt, placed 6th overall with a time of 19:52.  Other counters for UNB were Katie Robinson 20:08, Katie Wallace 20:34, Nathalie Cecire 21:27; Kelsie Hogan 22:38 and Priya Bhutani 23:20.

Overall the women placed 3rd out of the six teams.
