2012 Results    AUS Championships 3rd place – 60pts     Top Athletes – Frida Aspnaes (1st), Rachael McCarvill (8th)         Athletes to CIS Nationals: 2 (Aspnaes & McCarvill)

Losses: Without a doubt the loss of exchange student Frida Aspnaes is a loss to the program.  Aspnaes won the 2012 AUS Championships and was named the MVP for the conference and a 12th place finisher at the CIS Championships.  Also not returning to the program is Rachael McCarvill.  Jill Seymour, who finished 11th at the conference championships is also not returning.

Returnees: UNB will return a number of athletes including Sarah Myatt, captain of the team and who was a member of New Brunswick's 2013 Canada Games team.  Myatt will be looked to improve on her 17th place at last years championships.   Nathalie Cecire who was last year's strongest rookie, 23rd at conference, is going to be eager to improve on last year's results.  Also returning from last years conference team are Katie Wallace and Courtney Barbour.

New Faces: UNB will welcome several new faces in 2013.  Katie Robinson (national junior bronze medalist in the 2000m steeplechase) will be looked at to make an immediate impact.  Other recruits include: Laura Clark, Ashley Gallagher, Ailish Grieve, Paige Lewis, Andrea Mayo, and Ally Pickard-Tattrie.

Outlook:  The women's program will be looking to maintain their podium position at the conference championships and send athletes to the CIS championships.
