Womenâ??s Volleyball Program announces first recruit for 2013-14
Jillian Goulet, head coach of the UNB women’s volleyball program is pleased to announce the first of her 2013-14 recruiting class.

Susan Smith, aka Mandy, will graduate this spring from Phillips Exeter Academy, a highly selective private college preparatory school located in Exeter, New Hampshire, where she led the girls’ varsity volleyball team offensively for the past two seasons.

Prior to attending PEA Mandy completed grade 10 at Pickering College, Ontario, where she was the team captain and most valuable player of their girls volleyball program.  Mandy was also a member of the Richmond Hill Stingrays Volleyball Club while she lived in Ontario.

“I’m extremely excited to be joining the Varsity Reds this fall,” said Mandy who will be studying Science at UNB.  “I’m eagerly waiting getting to know my new teammates and coach and becoming a part of the UNB community.”

Coach Goulet is excited about her new addition. “We’re thrilled Mandy has committed to UNB.  A driven and dedicated athlete, Mandy brings experience at both the setter and outside hitter positions and will be an excellent fit for our team.”
