"This was a great meet for our athletes and the closest thing we have to a home competition.  The ladies ran, jumped, and threw well and while the results are promising we have lots of work to do if we are going to push for an AUS title in February," said head coach Jason Reindl.
The next competition for the ladies will be on December 21st in Moncton.
Also taking place on Saturday November 23rd was the Athletics New Brunswick Awards banquet. 1st year Varsity Red athlete, Katie Robinson was named 2013 New Brunswick Junior (18-19yoa) Athlete of the Year and based off of 2012 results the 2012 Junior Cross Country Athlete of the Year.  Current member, Sarah Myatt, and recently graduated, Rachelle McDonald, were recognized as Team of the Year for their part as members of the Canada Games women's 4x400m relay team that saw them break the provincial record by 11 seconds.
