UNB’s Track and Field Recruiting Class Continues to Grow

UNB Track and Field is pleased to announce four more additions to its 2013-2014 recruiting class.

Adding to its female recruiting class is Fredericton's own Tess McDonald.  McDonald was also a member of Team New Brunswick at the summer games competing in the triple jump where she placed 15th.  "Tess continues to round out the women's team bringing added strength to our field events," said Reindl.  When asked why she chose to remain at home and attend UNB McDonald said that has heard numerous positive comments about the programs from friends.  She also has a closer connection to the school as her mother is a graduate from UNB and father is a professor.

"I couldn't be more excited for the upcoming year. Having just returned from the Canada Games where thirteen UNB team members represented Team NB and showed that they can compete against Canada's best and having additions like Lefort come to UNB from Nova Scotia I have very high hopes for this team, " said Reindl.
