The UNB Varsity Reds Swim Program is pleased to announce the addition of Lauren Adam from New Maryland for the 2013-2014 season.

She has had many successes in the pool under FAST coach Marta Belsh- Lauren is a National Age Group Championship qualifier and current NB Provincial Record holder. She has most recently qualified to represent Team New Brunswick as a member of the 2013 Canada Games Swim team, along with current V-Reds team members Gabby Doiron and Amanda Greene.

“Lauren will be a great addition to our program for the upcoming season. She is a leader both in and out of the pool- a top student and an excellent competitor,” commented head coach Robin Ferdinand.

Ferdinand is very excited to see what she can do as a Varsity Red. “Lauren’s great work ethic and positive attitude are qualities that will help her continue to be a high performing student-athlete.”

Lauren has been accepted into the Faculty of Kinesiology at UNB.  Her older brother Patrick swam for UNB from 2006-2010 and was a CIS qualifier for the Varsity Reds.
