FREDERICTON: The UNB Varsity Reds lost a rough match at the Richard J. Currie Center to the visiting Saint Mary's Huskies by a score of 81-53.

However, the evening was highlighted by Saint Mary's player, Justine Colley reaching an illustrious milestone.

Nearly halfway through the third quarter Colley recorded one of her total 25 points on the night, to become the all-time AUS female career point-getter. The title previously held by Theresa MacCuish, of 2111 points, stood for 20 years, and was the product of five impressive seasons.

Colley started her basketball career in 2009 with the Huskies, scoring 418 total points and averaging 20.9 per game in her rookie season. The next season Colley out did herself by nearly 100 points, raking in 515 total points with an average of 25.8 per game. She continued to be an all-star player for the Huskies in the following years accumulating a total of 2091 points before the start of tonight's match.

In the third quarter a pause in play allowed the announcement of her milestone. Colley was also announced as the player of the game, at the conclusion of the match.

Colley is a 5th year senior from East Preston, Nova Scotia and is studying Communications.
