Varsity Reds set to Think Pink in biggest weekend of 2015

UNB's student-athletes are getting ready for one of their biggest events of the year - the annual Stewart McKelvey Think Pink Weekend.

The UNB campus will play host to nine games this weekend across basketball, volleyball and hockey. And from pink ice and hockey socks to pink jerseys and hair, the theme will be constant - raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research.

There will be draws for baskets and several beautiful handmade items over the course of the weekend. On Friday night, four UNB student-athletes and one student-therapist will bravely hand a pair of scissors to a friend and donate their hair for "Locks for Love."
